AES Limited, PC has evolved over the past fifty years from its start in 1953 as a one-man civil engineering firm - Henry Eugene Damon, Civil Engineer - to the multi-functional Architectural, Engineering and Surveying entity of today. Henry Eugene Damon, PE, PLS, the president of AES, Ltd., founded the firm and through its evolution added professional services. In 1978, as the civil engineering firm Associated Consultants Limited, Architecture was added and in 1990 the firm name was changed to AES, Ltd. The firm provides Architectural and engineering service to Mississippi and Alabama with Associated Consultants of Alabama as the companion architectural organization in Alabama. Over its half-century of service, AES Limited, PC has served a long list of clients for the various services provided including the City of Meridian, Meridian Airport Authority, Pat Harrison Waterway District, Mississippi State Highway Department, Mississippi Power Company, U.S. Department of Transportation, U.S. Department of Defense, Mississippi State University, Mississippi Air National Guard, Mississippi Bureau of Building, Grounds and Real Property Management and various school districts and other governmental and private bodies. AES Limited, PC professional capabilities are further enhanced by the use of CADD systems for architectural, engineering, surveying and mapping. Currently, for design and production of Construction Documents, AES, Ltd. utilizes Autodesk Architectural Desktop 3.3 and Autodesk Land Desktop. Production of specifications, calculations, estimates, reports and other administrative functions are also computer based. |
